Our Sri Sadhguru Seva Prerna Kendra project in Mehekari was inaugurated by Padmashri Popatrao Pawar In 2022. It is a study hall with open access to all students of the drought-prone village and has a well-equipped library with all the relevant books for those planning to appear for the many competitive exams for entry into professions. Membership is free to the village children and youths who want to expand their knowledge and additional guidance is available through computers with online access to lectures.
Many aspiring youth, from Mehekari and the adjoining villages have been using our space which is proving a key to their success in preparing for the competitive exams. We are proud to share that our first batch of students have been selected as police constables at locations across Maharashtra. A special ceremony was arranged for those selected for the Mumbai Police Force: Akshay Santosh Pote, Rishikesh Kumar Palve, Nitin Ambadas Pote, Kalpesh Sunder Ghatvisawe, Akshay Ramdas Nimse and Akshay Pote
Locating a study centre in rural areas like the picturesque Mehekari, benefits many students who cannot afford the cost and time of travelling to the city for classes and guidance on clearing the competitive exams.
We are really proud of the first batch of successful students and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Our hope is that they will return to the centre as role models and provide the necessary guidance to many more future students using our Shri Sadguru Seva Prerna Kendra in Mehekari
