Snehalaya - a Great Place to Work!

As a people-led organization we rely greatly on our teams to provide the services necessary to improve the lives of our beneficiaries in the best possible way. Since 2017, we have been conducting annual staff surveys in collaboration with Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTW) to help us understand what staff think about working with us. Receiving this feedback is incredibly valuable in allowing us to hear what we are doing well and not so well and these insights help improve our workplace for all employees.

By listening to our staff and by analysing their responses we can give the appropriate attention to the required improvements we can make which ultimately improve the services we provide our beneficiaries and other stakeholders. After all, only they know what it is really like to be a member of staff doing their particular job in their project or department. And hence the staff survey holds a special significance in the overall working of our organization.

The GPTW supports organizations that consistently focus on providing a superior employee experience and great work place. Recently they have announced a special honor that recognizes the rigour, discipline, and commitment with which these organizations have implemented their employee feedback-to-action process and celebrate those that have regularly conducted the survey with more than 60% of their people agreeing that leaders act on employee feedback. We are delighted and proud to announce that Snehalaya has received this special honor for our ‘Commitment to Being a Great Place to Work’.

GPTW says: “Great workplaces do not happen by chance, they are a direct result of management intention. It is the belief, passion, and commitment of visionary leaders like Snehalaya who create the right workplace culture.”

We will continue our commitment towards building and sustaining a high-trust, high-performance culture in the organization.
