Rocket Launch

On 29 May 2023, a Navik series NVS-01 (Navigation with Indian Constellation) guidance satellite, was successfully launched by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from the Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota.

There to witness the launch were our students, Archana and Premraj. Archana studies in our Balbhavan and lives in Ramwadi, one of Ahmednagar's slums. She is brilliant in her studies and also enjoys giving speeches and is in the National Cadet Corps (NCC). She achieved her place on the mission by moderating and participating in our Balbhavan Science Day program. There, Datta Ponde of Synergy Science Academy, Ahmednagar was impressed by her intelligence and confidence and recommended her to witness this historic moment. They also reached new heights to reach the launch, taking their first-ever ride on a plane on return flights from Pune to Chennai.

Our Balbhavan project focuses on health, education and culture to bring positive change to people living in seven slums of Ahmednagar City. For the past 15 years, Balbhavan has continuously strengthened the wings of poor and needy students. Archana is in our scholarship group and dreams of becoming a scientist. Our Balbhavan will help her in all possible ways to fly high.

Premraj's parents are workers in a company. and he has been studying in our Snehalaya English Medium School since class 1. Our school has been imparting quality education to children from deprived and economically weaker sections of society for 13 years. Our school consistently provides guidance on scientific approaches and research skills to all our students.

Social standing is never an obstacle to the students of Snehalaya as we empower them to fulfill their dreams. Premraj and Archana have proved that there are no frontiers that cannot be crossed, as shown by their visit to ISRO.
