The 74th anniversary of India's Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor both at our Rehab Center and at the Ahmednagar Police Headquarters ground. Among the participants were NCC cadets from our Snehalaya English Medium School (SEMS), proudly showcasing their discipline and commitment to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
The presece of State Revenue, Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Minister, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, District Guardian Minister and renowned personalities like District Collector, Siddharam Salimath, and District Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Ola, not only underscored the importance of the Republic Day celebration but also demonstrated their support for the youth and their commitment to nation-building.
Our SEMS boys and girls NCC cadet platoons had the honour of being first to take part in a government-led operation. Led by Platoon Commander, Devang Sanjay Joshi and Marker Prince Patel, under the guidance of SEMS sports coach Mahesh Patekar and parade instructor, Mandeep Singh NCC. Their hard work, discipline, dedication and pride were evident as they moved smartly showcasing their skills.
The event included other teams and organisations such as the Police Force, Women Police Force, Band Squad, Fire Brigade, RSP, Scout Guides and more. The resultinig display of unity showcased the diversity of talents and skills present within our community. Following the flag hoisting and marching, students presented a magnificent cultural program, reflecting the rich heritage and culture of India. The police department also organized a demonstration of a rescue operation, highlighting their commitment to public safety.
The event was a true celebration of unity and patriotism, reminding us of the ideals on which India's democracy stands.
