Snehalaya's Caring Friends Hospital & Research Center (CFHRC) and our Community Health Center organised a range of health check-ups for our beneficiaries and local communities.

In today's fast-paced world, many are neglecting their health or simply do not understand symptoms that are warnings of endangered health. COVID has also financially paralysed families which also prevents them from visiting doctors.

A diagnostic camp and food distribution program, jointly organised by our Snehjyot and CFHRC teams was opened by Shivaji Jadhav, District Program Officer, District AIDS Prevention and Control Department.

Following the distribution of 80 grocery kits donated by Give India, our female sex workers had their blood groups and hemoglobin levels checked by our district hospital. Women's health is still neglected but Dr Suresh Gholap encouraged women to visit our district hospital where women can always count on support. Our Health Director, Pravin Mutyal also announced the launch of a new de-addiction project for disadvantaged women.

Later the same month, 43 beneficiaries and staff underwent eye check-ups at Dr Shailesh Potnis’s and Budhrani Hospital Eye Examination Camp. Following this, dentist Dr Atul Madavi examined our child's teeth. He then offered treatments at his hospital at a discounted rate.

Our Ahmednagar Community Health Center also organised a free health check-up camp with paediatricians Dr Subhash Firodia and Dr Aniruddha Geete for 75 Rehab Center children, including CBC, ESR, llood, urine, etc. and 14 children were given free medical treatment

Many needy and disadvantaged children in the community are benefiting from the facilities of our health center on a daily basis. There they can get low cost blood and urine tests, X-rays, physiotherapy treatments, ECGs, vaccinations and free check-ups by specialist doctors.
