It is the responsibility of Indian citizens to protect and preserve the Constitution.
The Indian Constitution was given to all the citizens of India who have the responsibility of protecting and preserving it, asserted retired chartered officer Nitin Thade, speaking at our State Level Constitution Street Play competition on Indian Constitution Day.
Mr Thade and Professor Balasaheb Pande, President of Ahmednagar Law College, were the chief guests for the prize distribution ceremony for the competition, organised by our Yuva Nirman Project in collaboration with Pemraj Sarada College,
A reading of the Preamble to the Constitution and an opening street play were performed. Ten teams from Maharashtra were selected with Rupesh Paspool and Adv. Bageshree Jarandikar judging the street dramas. A documentary of India-Bangladesh Goodwill Cycle Yatra was shown and a tribute was paid to our Vishal Ahire, the rally organiser who died in an accident while returning from the cycle last year,
