गुरुवार 27 फरवरी 2020 को, पुणे में एक अनूठी घटना हुई: एक इमर्सिव सिमुलेशन लैब जिसने महाराष्ट्र में बाल संरक्षण सहयोगियों को चाइल्ड केयर संस्थानों (CCIs; अनाथालयों) पर आधारित प्रणाली पर आधारित प्रणाली से संक्रमण पर एक व्यावहारिक नज़र डालने की अनुमति दी। परिवार-आधारित देखभाल (FBC) और परिवार को मजबूत बनाने वाली सेवाओं की एक श्रृंखला। यह दक्षिण एशिया में इस सम्मेलन मॉडल का पहला पायलट था और नीचे दी गई हमारी रिपोर्ट से पता चलता है कि यह एक बड़ी सफलता रही है!
स्नेहालय की विश्वसनीयता ने हमें महाराष्ट्र बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग (MSCPCR) और सुरक्षित अध्यक्ष, प्रवीण घुगे के समर्थन के लिए संपर्क करने की अनुमति दी। इस उद्यम में एक अन्य महत्वपूर्ण पक्ष चिल्ड्रन्स इमरजेंसी रिलीफ इंटरनेशनल (सीईआरआई) के वैश्विक एडवोकेसी निदेशक, इयान फोर्बर-प्रैट थे, जो राष्ट्रीय और राज्य स्तर पर एफबीसी के लिए दिशानिर्देशों का मसौदा तैयार करने में शामिल लोगों में से एक हैं। श्री फोर्बर-प्रैट पिछले 18 महीनों से स्नेहालय को परिवार-आधारित देखभाल की दिशा में मार्गदर्शन प्रदान कर रहे हैं।
होप एंड होम्स फॉर चिल्ड्रन एंड द फेथ टू एक्शन के साथ साझेदारी में सीएएफओ द्वारा विश्व स्तर पर पेश किए गए मॉडल द्वारा सम्मेलन प्रारूप को सुरक्षित किया गया था।
